Ah the 1800s.  Whatever plonker says that they miss the high morals, and excellent civic values of the Good Old Days, when women were good wives who stayed at home; when racism was merely an expression of how things were done – when imperialism was a way of ‘helping’ johnny foreigner learn a good lesson or two, and laudunum was fed to children to stop them crying; when poverty was a vice, healthcare a privilege, segregation a social norm and unions were the mark of the devil – why!  To that plonker let me say: follow this link…
