Nine Worlds 2013
So, I’m going to a convention! Whoop whoop! And it’s in London whoop double whoop!
Except actually… I know London already, and I love London, don’t get me wrong, but I do rather regard conventions and book tours as an excuse to see the rest of the world, from the safety of a warm publisher-funded hotel room, with someone nearby who knows the way to the nearest ice cream, and so while it’s thrilling that this is in London I do somewhat regret the lost opportunity to experience the joy of an over-heated hotel room somewhere obscure. Just because, every few months, the surreal nature of an over-heated hotel room has its place.
Anyway, rambling, point is:
I’m going to be at this. Talking about fantasy and stuff. There’s some awesome scribbler dudes attending. Hopefully I’ll see some of you there too!
