SFX Blog Awards 2011
How do people know these things before I do?
I mean, don’t get me wrong, I’m immensely impressed…
… and a little bit wowed…
… but how?
Greetings, therefore, to those kind contributors who pointed out that this blog has been, to my surprise (but delight!) nominated in the SFX Blog Awards 2011! This is an immensely cool thing that caught me a little off-guard because, bizarrely, what it suggests more than anything else is that there are people reading the blog… and considering the billions of internet sites out there, the sheer number of pages to stumble onto, the vast ebb and flow of online traffic, this is a mathematically implausible thing and not something I’ve quite got my head around…
Never-the-less, I remain thrilled and am under strict orders to request people to vote…

… not necessarily for me though, I mean, that seems like cheating, doesn’t it? After all, I haven’t yet been through all the other blogs nominated but I strongly suspect that there are some pretty cool blogs out there, so let me say instead…
… if after judicious consideration…
… ruthless research…
… and quite possibly the stroking of an imaginary beard…
